Very nice food. However, this was basically a hot sandwich, so I'd usually pay £5 to £8.50, but these were £10 each. Also, the hot chocolate was too sweet for me. If I'd had tea instead, I'd have been a lot happier.

Great experience! We went for my birthday breakfast yesterday and both the food and service was impeccable. To top it off I got a birthday mince pie brought out to me with a candle and the whole cafe sang to me (I’m 29😂). Great place to go, highly recommend!

Called in on short notice as was in the area, we had travelled 60 miles to se see Kevin Sinfield on his ultra marathom 7 in 7. A guy recommended this coffee shop to us. Tea and homemade cakes yum yum.

The food was amazing! I had a breakfast hash and my husband had the light hearty breakfast. The drinks are amazing as well together with the atmosphere and location too. The staff were very nice and friendly and I will hundred percent be coming back here for breakfast!

Probably the nicest cafe I’ve every been to. Lovely warm welcome, staff couldn’t do enough for me. To top it off, the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended.

Wow, what a lovely place. The owners and staff are so nice, polite, and nothing is too much trouble. To start with, my skinny cappuccino was spot on. My big breakfast was amazing, excellent sausages, black pudding was cooked to perfection, bacon eggs, tomatoes, and beans. All great produce congratulations to the chef 👏 would definitely highly recommend. 😋

Roast has it all. Gorgeous food with an excellent menu. We had a Bacon sandwich and creamed mushrooms on sour dough. Presented to a very high standard with the highest quality ingredients. The coffee was one of the best that I have tasted, again you could taste the quality. My nephew was delighted with what he stated was the best Hot Chocolate ever, I sneaked a taste and can certainly agree with him on his assessment. The venue itself is clean and well designed, creating a lovely, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Access and parking was easy with parking close by. One of the most impressive things about this family run venue is the staff. There is such a nice atmosphere, the staff are so friendly, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. Another bonus is that Roast is so easy to get to from the road network. I plan to return very soon and can't wait.

Called in for breakfast on our way back to Manchester from York. Really friendly staff, good selection of food & drinks to cater for all four of us and quick service! We couldn't fault the food, absolutely scrumptious! We will definitely be back next time we're over this way. Can highly recommend the mini donuts too if you've got a sweet tooth (Zeppoles).

I've just moved into Tadcaster and me and my girlfriend decided to try out the Roast Coffee Shop. I ordered a flat white to drink and was not disappointed! My flat white was spot on and my girlfriends latte was also perfect! As it was lunch time we decided to get food which can sometimes be awkward as my girlfriend is coeliac, the staff seemed to have a good grasp of the dietary requirements and informed us of what she could eat. I took the advice of the server and got the Midwest Chicken Burger. Everything on the plate was delicious, the salad was fresh, the chips were salted perfectly and the chicken burger itself was amazing! We will definitely be going back! To top it off the place is dog friendly. Can't recommend this place enough

We came for early lunch after a dog walk around Tadcaster and Stutton. It’s a lovely cafe with plenty of outdoor seating. Our dog had a bowl of water to quench her thirst after a 4 mile walk. The cake selection is great as is the lunch. The portions are good so you won’t leave hungry. The staff are welcoming and friendly and it was a good little find!! Well be back again soon!!
